The workshops are structured, engaging sessions that support children to build confidence, develop emotional regulation and make positive choices.
The Boss Bear Programme is delivered through three structured workshops, each building a key life skill using a simple, repeatable method.
Each session is interactive and practical, designed to promote understanding, engagement and active participation.
Workshops also support language and literacy through listening, discussion, reading, writing and reflection, while contributing to PSHE and personal development.

Through this three step method children gain real life skills they can use in school, at home and in everyday situations.
WORKSHOP 1 – STORM
Boss Bear Affirmations
Focus:
• Confidence
• Positive thinking
• Recognising feelings
What children learn:
• To notice and understand how they feel
• To use positive, strong thoughts
• To use affirmations to build confidence
• To build confidence through repetition
This workshop supports PSHE by developing emotional awareness, self-belief and positive thinking.
Language and literacy are supported through listening, speaking and repetition, helping children develop vocabulary and confidence in expressing their thoughts.

WORKSHOP 2 – FLOWER
The Calm Boss Bear Move
Focus:
• Emotional regulation
• Calming strategies
• Resilience
What children learn:
• How to calm their body and mind
• How to use simple breathing techniques, including Berry Flower Breathing
• That it is okay to try again and keep going
This workshop supports PSHE by developing emotional regulation, resilience and self-control.
Language and literacy are supported through speaking, listening and reflection, helping children express their thoughts and understand their experiences.

WORKSHOP 3 – POSE
The Boss Bear Saving Adventure
Focus:
• Decision-making
• Saving
• Understanding money
What children learn:
• To pause and think before making choices
• To understand the concept of saving
• To make positive, thoughtful choices
This workshop supports PSHE by developing decision-making, responsibility and understanding of consequences, including early financial awareness.
Language and literacy are supported through reading, discussion and simple writing activities, helping children communicate ideas and apply their learning.
