ABOUT THE BOSS BEAR LEARNING AND LIFE SKILLS PROGRAMME
The Boss Bear Family Programme is a structured, evidence-informed programme, supporting emotional development, behaviour and decision making in children aged 5-9.
The programme also supports language and literacy through listening, discussion, reading, writing and reflection, while contributing to PSHE and personal development. It focuses on building confidence, emotional awareness, decision making and early financial understanding through engaging practical learning.

WHAT IS A BOSS BEAR?
A Boss Bear is someone who is able to manage their emotions, regulate their behaviour and make positive choices.
Through the programme, children learn how to:

• Calm and regulate themselves
• Make positive, thoughtful choices

HOW CHILDREN LEARN
Children follow the Boss Bear Family in stories set in Bearberry Grove, where they face everyday challenges and learn simple strategies they can use in real life.
